Inbound service
Inbound service numbers are virtual numbers – they do not exist at a physical address, but at the exchange. Used for inbound calls only, all incoming calls to an Inbound service are transferred to a nominated answer point/s. Answer points can be located nationally, internationally or can even be a mobile service. BusinessPhoneAustralia Inbound services are routed via the BusinessPhoneAustralia Network and we are able to port (transfer) Inbound services from other carriers.

1300 service – charged at $0.25 to the caller regardless of where in Australia the call
originates (expect for mobiles). The owner of the service also incurs call costs.
13 service – charged at $0.25, operates in a similar way to the 1300
service, however a 13 service is more expensive to set up and maintain.

KEY FEATURES:
Answer points can be nominated in 5 separate call collection areas – NSW/ACT, VIC/TAS,
QLD, SA/NT and WA. Only 1 answer point per collection area is available at this stage.
? Time and Day Redirection – calls to the inbound service can be transferred automatically to

an alternative number at a nominated day or time of day. This service can also be set up to
automatically switch to another office during holiday periods etc.
Itemised billing – including details of the area prefix of the calling numbers, allowing the
customer to monitor which areas are using their service.

CUSTOMER BENEFITS:
Inbound services are a key marketing tool providing increased marketing reach. Callers can
contact the customer nationally at minimal cost.
13 numbers are highly marketable as they only 6 digitals and easily remembered.
BusinessPhoneAustralia Inbound services are cheaper than Telstra’s standard offer.
The once number can be advertised nationally, whilst the call is redirected to the appropriate
  state.
As the Inbound service numbers are virtual numbers, the customer’s 1300 or 13 number can
be safely advertised, without the hassle of changing numbers if they relocate.
In disaster situations where phone lines are down, the answer point can be changed to
  redirect calls elsewhere.
1300/13 service have no flagfall, and the first 10 minutes of local calls are free to the
  customer/business being called.
